Strange behavior in the File Manager:

I’ve installed EE v2.2.2 (no build information, the install was downloaded this morning) in a WAMPSERVER environment on a PC running Windows 7. PHP is v5.3.4.

When I try to upload a file from the File Manager using Chrome, Firefox or Safari the window flickers and nothing happens- in IE9 I am redirected to the CP home page.

I’ve created a channel and field group with a single “file” field and when I publish to that channel through the CP I have no trouble uploading a file or selecting an existing file.

I have disabled extensions and removed all 3rd party add-ons with the same results- is this a version issue or an environment issue? This is my first install of this type so I would assume an environment issue except that it works fine through the publish function…

Unfortunately, this is a known bug. Feel free to post a comment on the bug thread, so you’ll continue to be notified on the status. There is a temporary fix posted here.
