Hi,
I just installed LG.htacess Generator and got the error message that the .htaccess file doesn’t exist or isn’t writable. My site is on a server I built so not a hosting problem.
But not sure how to resolve the error? Do I need to create a blank .htaccess file and make it writable? Or am I on the wrong track entirely?

Thanks! On my system, it’s invisible because of the leading dot in the filename. Once I realized that I “found” it and set the file permissions. Off to proceed with the rest (I hope). Editing this post to add—success.
