I’d like to give people visiting my site(s) a way to comment under their facebook and twitter profiles. So I looked over at devot:ee and found different methods to achive this - so different that I am not sure which way to go.

    My thoughts so far:

    - First impulse was to go with Disqus, because it also has a very good spam detection. But it is all Javascript, which may not be available to all of my users (beside the search engine problem, but I do not care much about that). I found 2 modules that work around that issue by importing disqus comments into ee, but unfortunately both are listed as “not MSM compatible”.

    - Then there is Socialee and Social Login. Very different price but similar outcome as far as I can see, except for the profile importing thing socialee does. Both looking interesting, but a little overfeatured and in Socialee’s case also overpriced for my intentions. Basically, I am not sure I want to create a member account for everyone leaving a comment this way. Looks like creating a whole lot of useless db content in the long run.
Then again, there maybe something to it, as being able to comment on articles but not in the forums might confuse the non-techie users. (?)

Do you have experience with social connections? Advantages, disadvantages, recommendations? Did I overlook something? Any sites with solutions implemented which I could look at? Thanks in Advance!
