Hi,

We have recently upgraded from 1.6x to 2.20.  When attempting to post an entry that contains an image, the file manager is only showing about 100 of the images in the directory that I wish to choose from.  Also, they seem to be in date order as opposed to alpha as I would want them.

The field is set to “file” in custom channel fields area.  I have gone into file upload preferences and tried synchronizing the entries.  There, it shows 230 images, but only about 100 show in file manager.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi Warren,

Can you confirm your exact version and build please?
The most recent is EE2.2.2 and it would be recommended if you are on EE2.2.0 to upgrade to this first to see if issue persists.

From the EE2.2.1 changelog

Fixed a bug (#16040) where the file manager modal was limited to the first 100 files in a directory.

The version I’m talking about is 2.20.  I’m aware of the update, but I haven’t installed it yet and probably won’t have time until later this week.  I’ll try that and let you know if that fixes it.
