Visitor Statistics not showing in forum footer

We are upgrading from EE1.7 to EE2. And we have updated the forums module from 2.2.0 to 3.1.5. In the older version, Visitor Statistics was display at the bottom of the forum home page. (Example visual attached) But on the new site, they aren’t. Not for any of the themes (except for the developer theme, which doesn’t run at all. just says ‘error’ in the title bar. I have to delete the cookie to be able to see the forums again).

I poked around in the code, found a function visitor_stats that is to display. And it looks like its set to display in the themes. Just doesn’t show.

So I thought perhaps there was a toggle in the CP for the display, but I don’t see that either.

I uploaded all the files again, just in case. That didn’t help.

    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Hi Hendrik,

I believe you may have Enable Online User Tracking? turned off in your Tracking Preferences
Admin > System Preferences > Tracking Preferences

Can you flip that on and let me know if the stats show up for you please?

I think you meant Admin > Security and Privacy > Tracking Preferences?  I set Enable Online User Tracking? to yes and it showed. thank you!
