Hey, does anyone know of an add-on for EE2 that would allow me to track and/or validate member referrals? I would like to set something up to where a current member can go out and refer people to my site, then, during that referred persons registration can specify who (what member) referred them to the site, and finally have that entry validated (checking the member database).

I could probably program this myself with some PHP, and a quick couple calls with AJAX, but I wanted to see if there was an easy route available to me.

Solspace Friends allows for this. Might be overkill as the module enables a lot of other stuff. It costs about $70, but might be worth looking into

I will take a look at the Friends module. I may be better suited with an extension or plugin of a sort. A module like this will probably be overkill, but if it works it works. Thanks.
