Hello,

I’m working on a client’s website who is using MSM. They have one main website and 6 micro websites configured on subdomains like this:

techgadgets.com
mobile.techgadgets.com
hardware.techgadgets.com
etc..

Design is the same across all of them. Do we need to buy additional license for each of those subdomains?

The problem is when I use more then 2 site values in site=”” parameter, they doesn’t work. For example, when I want to display on main website latest entries from all websites (site=“site_1|site_2|site_3|...|site_6”), it display entries only for 2 websites.

Is this related to MSM license or to something else?

When you go to the My Purchases area of the ExpressionEngine store, it will tell you below your MSM license how many sites that license supports. The initial purchase of MSM supports 3 sites. If you need to install more, you can purchase additional sites. I hope this helps clarify for you.

I got login info for EE account from client and as I can see they’ve already purchased additional licenses for 7 websites in total https://img.skitch.com/20110826-gyhnteuggm21bwfmjsw5wsph3c.jpg.

I’ll try to update MSM files and see if that fixed the problem.

Okay, I downloaded and updated MSM with the latest files but the problem still exist.

I’m trying on main website’s index page to display latest entries from all 6 websites but only entries from 3 of them are displayed.

Here is the code I’m using for displaying latest entries:

I have content channel on each of the websites with more then 200 entries.

So why only entries from 3 websites are displayed instead of one entry from each of 6 websites?
