    I’ve updated one of my EE websites to 2.2.2 (20110801) and updated the MSM in the process as well (2.1.0). All files are in place, but I keep getting the error “The page you requested was not found.”.

    Been searching through the forums, but the suggestions I found did not solve my problem. Also, I don’t see any option to enable the MSM in the general configuration.

    What’s going wrong?

    Edit: I do have MSM enabled in my config file it seems..

    $config[‘multiple_sites_enabled’] = “y”;

    On top of that, I seem to be experiencing the same problems as described here as well:

    Hi MH1985,

    Where are you getting the error that says, “The page you requested was not found”? Could you give us some specifics on the different paths and URLs used for your different sites in MSM? How far along in the process of setting up MSM have you gotten?

    Regarding the login problems, are you able to login if you disable MSM in your config.php?

    Hi Kevin,

    I was getting that error when I used the dropdown menu in the top right corner.
    You have the options to switch, view and edit sites from there. For example: /system/index.php?D=cp&C=sites&M=manage_sites

    I have set the config variable as below to disable the MSM and I can login again now, but the MSM is disabled (duh 😉):
    $config[‘multiple_sites_enabled’] = “n”;

    Problem solved Kevin, forgot to add the sites.php controller to my version control. Thus it did not get uploaded. Sorry for my noobism.
