    Hi guys,

I am in the process of moving my EE installation from one folder (where I was testing it) to another folder on the server, which is live and Google indexed.

Since I will still work on this area to expand it further I was wondering if I could keep EE installed also in the testing folder so I can try new structures and templates there and then reflect them in the live folder?

The reason I ask this is that I haven’t been using EE for a long time, therefore I’m still a bit wobbly with it.

    Thanks.

    Hi, svedish.

You’re welcome to have two installations on the server, as long as only one is publicly facing. In oe ther words, your demo site should not appear to be available to the general public.

You can do this by turning the site off so that only SuperAdmins can see it, or by setting up the templates to only display if you’re a SuperAdnin.

    Does that help?
