No, I didn’t receive an e-mail. But I plan to change my hosting provider, so the problem should be solved soon.

    chrigu,

I’m going to leave this thread open for the time being then. Let us know if your need any assistance when moving to your new hosting provider. Be sure to run the Server Wizard at your new host to ensure compatability and to follow the instructions for Moving ExpressionEngine, both can be found here.

    Cheers,

    Hello.

I’m wondering if you guys ever sorted this out. I ran into the exact same problem, and it is driving my crazy.

I’ve built and moved countless sites. I get the drill and do it the same way every time. This is the first I’ve ever seen an error like this:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1054
Unknown column ‘site_id’ in ‘where clause’
    SELECT * FROM (`exp_members`) WHERE `site_id` = ‘1’
    Filename: models/member_model.php
    Line Number: 280

I really don’t get it. On the public side, I see a white page. When I hit the CP, I get this error.

Yah, I know. It’s my first post - I usually find the answer on here without posting, but I’m desperate. Selecting another hosting provider is not an option.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey dandelauro,

Can you tell me what version you are on?

This sounds like a bug I have seen, but without knowing your version I cannot confirm this.

    Cheers,

    Hey Shane,

I’m on EE 2.2.2 - I know, upgrade. I wish it were less painful to do that.

If you can help out, that would be great.

    Thanks,
    -Dan

Ha. I meant help me figure out what’s going on with mysql, not help upgrading.

    But thanks anyway.

    Hey Shane.

If you want to help, I am all ears.

I had convinced my client to convince their client to select a new host. We did that and all was well until they decided they did not want to change hosting providers. So I am back to square one.

I’ve completely replaced the site with a fresh installation of 2.5.1. I’ve added no content, no templates, no nothing. And when I hit the admin.php I get the following error:

    —-
    Error Number: 1054
Unknown column ‘site_id’ in ‘where clause’
    SELECT * FROM (`exp_members`) WHERE `site_id` = ‘1’
    Filename: models/member_model.php
    Line Number: 263
    —-

This is driving me insane. There is no site_id in exp_members. Why on earth would line 263 be querying that in the get_member_data() function?

By the way, this ONLY happens on this particular server.

I should add that it’s a Windows server running PHP 5.2.14 and MySQL 5.0.26 on IIS 6. And it passed the compatibility wizard on all levels.

Any help you can provide here would be appreciated.

    Hey dandelauro,

    That is a huge bummer.

Is this a new DB as well or did you re-suse the old DB?

Do you have the members or comments module installed?

    Please let me know,
