We have an instance where we want to use the date field, but without worrying about the time. Why? it is a date. And EE2s date field has a date picker associated with it. But we don’t want the time, its not necessary. So we would rather hide it than hope users read the note to not worry about setting the time. I realize we could use a text field, but then we don’t have a date picker. The field appears within a Matrix field, using Safecracker to submit the data to the channel.
Any suggestions?
