    Getting a couple of php errors at the top of the page when using a related_entries tag. The tag is returning results correctly to the page template.

    Here’s the code I’m using (the ‘frequently_asked_questions’ tag is a matrix field entry):

    {related_entries id="related_faqs"}
                    {if no_related_entries}
                        No FAQs Available
            {/if}
                    <ul>
                    {frequently_asked_questions}
                    <li>{mtx_faq_question}</li>
                    {/frequently_asked_questions}
                    </ul>
                {/related_entries}

    See pic of errors below. Need to know whether this is a bug (I found a thread in the bug tracker that indicates something may be wrong). Please advise.

    Britchie,

    What version and build of EE are you using?

    Make sure you have the most recent version of both EE and Matrix installed and see if issue persist.

    I see this recent report in the bugtracker

    You might add a comment to the report if an update does not iron it out for you

    Britchie, I couldn’t tell.. are you still having issues? I noticed you posted something to the bug report.

    Thanks for checking-in Sue. Yes, there is still an issue with this although I’m only receiving the error when logged-in as admin. The tags are returning the results correctly but obviously I’d liked to see this get straightened out for everybody’s confidence.

    Let’s have you upgrade to EE2.2.2 and make sure you have the most recent version of Matrix. Can you retest after doing that?

    For what it is worth, I am seeing the same error when relating an entry that uses a Matrix field.

    I am running both the latest versions off EE and Matrix.

    Hi, Jeff. So if you don’t use Matrix, you don’t have the problem?

    @Sue. I’ve upgraded to 2.2.2 and have the latest versions of P&T add-ons. Still seeing the error. What’s happening with this? Is there a confirmed bug report/fix in the works?

    Hi Britchie,

    It looks like the bug report has been confirmed when displaying any Channel Fields with tag pair, and I’ve posted a clarification to the thread to make it easier for developers to replicate. Since this isn’t a critical bug (the error notices are only shown to Super Admins while logged in and the functionality is still there), it’s probably not going to be fixed in the short-term. That said, we do have all the info we need to fix the bug, and we’ll update bug report when we’re able to do so. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

    Is there anything else I can help with?
