i have a channel that i import entries to via data grab
when i try to manually change the entries they change to closed status and the drop down only shows one option closed?

Confirm that you have a status group assigned to the Channel. Having none would cause this behaviour is you were a non-admin
Are you a logged in as a SuperAdmin when this is happening?
