I’m a Super Admin. The File Manager has different icons depending on which site’s control panel I’m in (see attached screenshots). If I’m in the main site’s CP, I have icons in the Actions column for Download and Edit File. If I’m in the second site’s CP, I have the same two icons plus an icon for Edit Image.

In the main site’s CP (the one without the Edit Image icon), if I click on Edit File I get an error message: “An Error Was Encountered. You are not authorized to access this page.”

Here’s the URL it goes to if that helps:
    index.php?S=3a46831a955f6674cb4a6f1efb4fe79814868a83&D=cp&C=content_files&M=edit_file&upload_dir=11&file_id=39

    kirkaracha,

I can’t replicate this I’m afraid. Are you using the admin.php for both control panels or logging into SiteA and switching sites from there?

Logging into Site B and switching sites from there.

If I log in to the control panel from Site A, I see all three icons in the File Manager for both sites, and the Edit File link works.

If I log in from Site B, I see all three icons in the File Manager and the Edit File link works for Site B, but in Site A the Edit Image icon’s still missing and I still get the same error message if I click Edit File.

    Hi kirkaracha,

Please try setting up and using the admin.php files as outlined in the MSM setup instructions. Does that work better for you?
