    Hey,

    I am trying to create a simple upload form for the site users. Same directory is fine for all . But i can’t find the right code/ or tutorial anywhere.

    And more ideea is to use Megaupload + Safecracker. But can i use them out of the control panel? simply the user to select a file , and to push the button ? How can i do that. Pls can someone give code examples and instructions?

    Thank you

    Klauss,

    Who are the site users? Are they members? Are they potential clients uploading a RFP? Do they need to submit something to a channel?

    Rather hard to give you an exact solution without knowing what it is you are trying to accomplish, but I would say that you could either see if Safecracker fulfills you needs or you could checkout Freeform from Solspace. This module enables site users to upload files, save the upload to the db and send an email with the upload as an attachment to an address of your choosing. You can find the docs here: http://solsp.ac/e4t

    Thanks for the assist, Vim Interactive.

    Klauss - I’d tend to use Freeform as well. That’s what I typically use for these kinds of tasks.

    Does that help?

    In that case, head on over to the Solspace forum. I’m certain they have examples there for how to create an upload form.

    Hey , i bought Mega Upload from dev demon. and included it in the code :

    {exp:safecracker channel="test" include_jquery='no' datepicker="no" return="site/test"}
    <input name=“title” type=“text” />
    {field:mega_upload}
    <input type=“submit” value=“Submit” />
    {/exp:safecracker}

    But safecracker is not loading my javascript i think . cause the buttons appears ,but does nothing…

    Hi, Klauss.

    Their site at http://www.devdemon.com/mega_upload/#product_details mentions supporting SafeCracker 1.03+. You’ll need to contact them for support in working with their add-on and SafeCracker.
