    Hi,

Just updated from 2.1 to 2.2.1.

Rather than describe this error, I will just attach it.

I’ve seen this before but don’t remember what I did to fix.

    Hi Versa,

Sorry to see this! Can you try uploading fresh copies of /themes/cp_themes and /themes/javascript ?

Let us know if that fixes it.

    Cheers!

    Dan,

I deleted and replaced /themes/cp_themes and /themes/javascript but still see the error.

    Hi, Ben.

If you switch to the regular theme, do you still have similar issues?

I switched from default to corporate theme, same problem.

    Versa,

Please try selecting your group(s) and hit the Reset Layout button. Does that eliminate the error?

That worked…do I have to reset all my layouts?

    Hi Versa,

For any channels where you’re seeing an error, yes, you’ll likely need to reset those.

FYI, I had this same issue in 2.2.1 and had to reset all of the publish layouts. This only seemed to apply to channels that had comments disabled under “channel preferences.”

    Hi there Versa,

Are you all good to go now? If so, I can resolve this thread.

    Thanks,

    Hey Versa and gaarmaster,

For research purposes, were any of you using Structure when this issue happened for you? If not, were you using any other addons?

    Thanks guys!

Nope, no structure. Tons of other add-ons though. I reset and recreated layouts, now they work.

Hi, VS - glad you’re up and running.

We are trying to figure out if there are any common threads to the layout issues. Were you using any other add-ons that impact the publish page, by any chance?

LiveLook and NSM Better Meta both seem to cause issues.

    Thank you, VS!

I’m going to make a note of that and see if we can compare to other installations as this comes up; then if there is consistency, figure out if it’s our API or those add-ons.

It’s a bit of a process, but the extra information is a big help.

You are all set at this point?
