    Hi,

I have turned error reporting off in the cp but i’m still seeing some warnings. in index.php $debug = 0.

where else should i be looking ?

its related to my use of the segment tags. when you finish a url with ” ( eg index.php/channel/category/entry_url_name” ) the tag comes through with the ” appended on the end, which makes the if statement fail ( {if "{segment_3}” == “something” }  )

    Hi michaeil,

Even if the if statement fails, you still shouldn’t have a PHP error or warning coming through. What’s the warning you receive?

    I figured it out -

the site was an MSM site, and in the sub site that was producing the error, the index.php page had debug set to 1.

I thought that the control panel setting would override the index.php setting. but it appears not.

    Hi michaeil,

Hiding PHP errors, especially for SuperAdmins, isn’t recommended. They are shown by default to SuperAdmins because they need to be addressed. What errors in particular are you seeing?
