This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I have not been able to find anything related to this error in the forums more recently than May. It was said that this may be solved before EE 2.2. We just upgraded to 2.2.1 and we are experiencing this problem.

All of the Entry Date Time and Expiration Date Times are forward 1 hour.

    Hi, Hendrik-Jan.

The most obvious question - do you have DST on or off? Does the default value for the site’s settings have DST on or off?

  • #3 / Jul 21, 2011 11:55am

The DST was set to yes. I switched it to no and it does not update the entries times. We have two sites running at the same time. We are updating this site from EE1 to EE2. The EE1 site is running on a different host. It has DST set to yes with Honor the Daylight Saving Time setting associated with each channel entry? Set to No. This site is the EE2 site on Engine Hosting and the times are 1 hour ahead.

    This is the EE1 site - http://www.cdowcym.org/
    This is the EE2 site - http://cdowcym.ehclients.com/

You can see the times issue with the main event at the top on Sept 8

    Hi Hendrik-Jan,

Is every entry off by the same amount? The quickest fix might be to run a SQL statement to subtract 3600 from each entry’s entry date value.

Seems as though the times now all match. It might have been that the browser was caching as Firefox sometimes does. It must have been the result of turning off DST since that was the last and only change we have made recently.

Thanks for the update, Hendrik-Jan. Glad it’s working now!
