This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    Running: 2.2.1 - Build: date 20110705

I went through the duplication steps when setting up a new site from an existing site (basically I just want a duplicate of siteA to siteB).  After getting a successful site creation, I go to the new site’s homepage expecting the site, yet I get no channel data.  I get the template and my code, etc. but I get no rendering of the exp:channel loop(s).

The custom fields are duplicated to the new site, I see the entries, but I get no rendering of the channel tags.

Also, not sure if this is related, when I go in to the newly duplicated entries, the image thumbnails are broken, even though the urls are the same (I duplicated the file upload locations as well).  In addition, when I go in to the file manager the images I uploaded in siteA are missing.

And finally, when I upload the the same image that previously existed, and get the prompt that his file already exists, I click on “Rename File” and I get these PHP errors:

Hi, Grant. I’m re-doing my test-ee site now to test this with 2.2.1. As I’m setting things up on my end, let’s find out a bit more about your setup.

How are SiteA and SiteB related in regards to where they are in your ftp folders?

In my case, I’m going to be installing on MediaTemple. How about you?

    Hey Sue -

    Yes, on MediaTemple DV.

SiteA is in web root and the subdomins are in a subdomain directory within root (not the default MT sudomian directory above root).

    Thanks!

Mine is MT GS. No web root install in my case. OK, getting ready to add the second site now.

Hi, Grant. I apologize for the delay in replying. I got my test-ee.com site up and duplicated just about everything.

I duplicated the file directories too, and they were the same as the first group. No making of a newer folder and the like. Is that what you were expecting?

Did you need to sync those directories?
