    Hi Kevin,

I am afraid, but the time is wrong in every state - logged in or logged out (tried with different browsers, logging in, logging out).

Ok, thanks for the info. I’m bringing one of my devs in on this to see what’s going on. We’ll do our best to get you fixed up quickly!

Sorry for the wait. I flipped your admin account to be the localization default (my account > member preferences > use member loc settings as site default).

Basically there’s two parts to localization: the server settings, and the user’s settings. For logged out users it uses the user settings for the account that is set as the localization default. On a new install that should be the super admin account, but it looks like it wasn’t?

It does bring up a UI issue, there is no way to see who is the default user unless you go to their member preferences page. We should probably list it in the localization settings. Or better yet, move it there. I’ll ping James on that.

Please give it a round of testing and let us know what you find 😊 . Danke!

    Guten Tag, lehrerfreund.

I just wanted to let you know that I can replicate what you’re seeing when using SafeCracker.

I did find by trial and error that if you re-pick the date, it works (fixes the right time). This is after testing with EE2.2.1 and EE2.2.2..

It seems that what Pascal did resolved the problem. I wasn’t aware of the setting my account > member preferences > use member loc settings as site default - just did the two mentioned in my initial post. I am sure it’s a good idea of Pascal focussing some ergonomic brush-up with the localization-settings in the CP.

Maybe what Sue experiences with SafeCracker (which I don’t use) is another problem.

So thanks all for your help, especially Pascal for fixing this for me!

    (my case closed)
