hi there
after hours of furious googling and using the forum-search - i think i have som problem in understanding the comment-tag.
i would like to show all comments by a given user (whereas the user details are passed trough the url)
how do i achieve this? (author_id = segment_x failed). is there anything i should know about that?

What version of EE are you using? Can you show us the template code you’ve tried already?

I think i found the problem. Looks like i have this bug (https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/15661/) since im running the same version.
Im gonna update ee to 2.2.1 and will post later if it fixed the problem.

well, good news - the bug with the comments is fixed in 2.2.1 and displaying comments works like a charm. unfortunately we have some serious trouble with 2.2.1 so the deal was not that good at all - check it out in this post.

haha, after finding my mistake and learning about about the solspace theme folder - its actually a good trade - up and running 😊
