This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    Hey!

    I can’t edit entries created under v2.1.1 (I just upgraded from 2.1.3 to 2.2.1 when I realized I couldn’t update these entries).

However, if I create a new entry under 2.2.1, I can edit it as usual.

    Any idea?

    Hi solist,

Sorry to hear about this. So to be clear, you’re unable to edit entries that were created before EE 2.2.1 but entries created since the upgrade to 2.2.1 can be edited without a problem, correct?

Do you have the Discussion Forum module installed? If so, it may be that you’re affected by this bug.

Yes, I do. And you’re right, If I remove the forum module, I can post again. Any idea about the release of a fix? Thanks!

    Hi, solist.

The good news is that Greg is on it. He hasn’t updated the status of the bug yet, so it’s not fixed. But when he’s ready to have the fix tested, we’ll be notified. Does that help?

    Thanks Sue…

In reference to this bug. Just run this UPDATE statement:

    UPDATE exp_channel_titles
    SET forum_topic_id = NULL
WHERE entry_id .... (whatever your condition)

against the entry ID that you wish to update via the EE CP.

Thanks for the update query solist. I take it everything is up and running for you again without issue?

Yes, back on track for now but I may have to toggle the forum_topic_id field between Null and 0 until you release a bug fix.
