Is it that the descriptions are not clear enough, or do you think people just randomly click and post? Should we bother trying to deal with it?
At least I have something new to be grumpy about, so I’m happy 😊

I just don’t read the description. Reactor or Core is enough!!!!! My code doesn’t work… it must be a bug!!!! and if I am desperate I could use job forum, and I might get some help. Of course when I need code but I don’t know how to write it down I can use the no code and I might get some code in return!!!
Sorry for not elaborating more… I can’t make pagination work, I think I found a bug but I’ll post it both in “Is this a bug” and “ignited code” just in case…

yes, some of use need a little vacation (you and me and a lot of others)
That said, would it be terribly rude to start answering these people with “please move your post to Topic X before we will help you”, and encourage others to say the same, or is that overly harsh?
The problem seems a lot worse lately than it used to be

Well, code is not quite suitable for lounge!! Regarding instructing to post in different forum, it might be a little rude, but as all have noticed, it has gone a little moretoo far. A problem annoying as is the code tag.
And it’s a little funny cause development needs a “structured” mind.
I like the idea of “instructing” if it brings forum structure to a better position. but this means more work for moderators (moving,deleting)

well, since the lounge description says “No topics off limits… but be civil.” i think theres no problem at all on posting here… my code is pretty civil 😛

The forum just needs a few more moderators. I have had this problem with other forums I have been a mod on. The moderators just pulled out the finger and moved posts around. Soon enough existing members were posting in the correct forum. New members would be a bit hit and miss but it isn’t much work to move things around.

Good suggestion, train your existing members and be hopeful for those who come late to the party!
