    Hi

Been a while since I’ve been on this EE 1.6.8 site but I’ve got an issue when creating or editing a entry in a weblog in that I get the following error:

    MySQL ERROR:

    Error Number: 1064

Description: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘’ at line 1

Query: SELECT * FROM exp_upload_prefs WHERE id =

    The URL is as follows:

    index.php?S=fa4fd9446a484d6de5ef81d25be3bd1805d44844&C=publish&M=entry_form&weblog_id=9

I had created a new upload directory before noticing this issue, which I’ve now removed. However I still get the same error.

Any ideas please? This has caused an update of the the site to fail so it’s currently switched off and I need to get it back on ASAP.

    Thanks

Looks like this was a problem with the nGen upload file field within a new Matrix field - the upload directory was blank (a valid choice when creating the field) but when a specific upload dir is chose, all seems to work).

Thanks for the update, Russ. Glad you found the culprit!
