    Dmitry,

    What version did you upgrade from?

    Do you have any add-ons running?

    When upgrading did you replace your system/codeigniter folder?

    I’m receiving the same four errors.

    Upgraded from 2.1.3

    I have quite a few add-ons.

    Yes, the codeigniter folder was replaced.

    I got this error, but I think it may have been because I overrode my /system/expressionengine/third_party/ folder instead of copying in my addons and overwriting the safecracker_file folder. I added int the new safecraker_file folder and the errors went away.

    But I am getting other errors now, unrelated I am sure, but I can’t be sure that updating that safecracker folder totally fixed these php errors. Just a suggestion to try.

    Thanks Kelly. Unfortunately I’m still getting theses errors. I uploaded a brand new copy of the system folder 5 minutes ago.

    I have noticed one thing:

    The first time I try to log in, the last error message is different than if click back and try for a 2nd time. On the 2nd try, I get the error above. For the first time I get this one:

    A Database Error Occurred

    Error Number: 1054

    Unknown column 'salt' in 'field list'

    UPDATE `exp_members` SET `salt` = 'd1h0!5#N+{*t.S:oKGW=E?D3Fnde2hK&dE;
    Filename: libraries/Auth.php

    Line Number: 271

    Hmmmm. Had to run the installer/updater and it worked. Wasn’t aware this was a step in the update process.

    Thanks for the assist here Kelly! If you’re experiencing other errors, please feel free to open a new thread.

    John-Gordon, does this mean you’re all set, and all your issues have been fixed?

    Dmitry Romanovsky, where do you stand on your issues?

    Thanks guys!

    It sounds like this may have your issue as well, Dmitry. Have you run the Upgrade Wizard?

    What if I get this after I’ve run the upgrade wizard on a dev server, everything is working fine and then this pops up when moved to the live server? Would the database have gotten corrupted or something.

    Should I just put the installer folder back where it was and try to run the wizard again? So confused….

    As far as i have learned, yes - the db gets corrupted because of the different versions of EE in certain tables, well.. if you didn’t copy the database then the advise from someone else is needed, there are should be the files where all the information about which tables got updated is now stored.

    Thankfully this seemed to fix itself after reimporting the db a few times. Still scary, though.

    I’m sorry this was an issue for you, but I’m happy to see you found a way forward.

    @all,
    I’m going to close this out. If you ever need assistance in the future, please start a new thread.
