I need to get everything I have on the production server copied over to a QA server for pre-release builds as well as any other major changes. I was able to do this fine with our EE2 servers, however I have struggled immensely with this task for EE 1.6.8.

Has anyone had luck copying their existing site over and changing paths to reflect the moved relations? If so, Is there a guide listing what all files need to be changed in order for this to work properly? I can’t even get the CP to load once I copy things. (White Screen of Death)  😉

Being I can’t access the CP, I don’t know how else to check. I can hit all of the static pages and I tested a phpinfo file which worked. Anything related to EE is dead.

Any help with this would be great as this needs to be done quickly.

    Thanks guys,

    Hi, Brian -

Also check out our user guide page on Moving EE to another server.

    Hope that helps!

Ok, sorry for the delay in response, but I got this one figured out. This was kind of a “backwards” need.
