I just installed EE2 with the Agile Records website enabled. When I do this, the admin side is fine, but the website itself takes up to two minutes to load, and when it does, it only shows content with no styling.

Any ideas?

Incidentally, when I do a clean install of EE2 without any data, the custom page I create loads instantly.

Hmmm.. I’ve done well over a dozen Agile installs for this version, and haven’t have the same issues.

Do you have a way of testing locally? Are you behind a firewall by any chance?

I am testing locally, with IIS7 and Windows Server 2008.

I tried accessing the site on the server itself, and from another computer on the local network. Both had the same problem. I made absolutely no changes to the website - this was a clean install of EE2 with the sample data included.

I have since discarded it and proceeded to make my own theme & website (which works without the slowdown), so this is not a big deal for me, but it might be a bug that needs attention for someone else.

Thanks for clarifying. I test using WAMP on my Windows machine, but I’ll mention this to the dev team. In the mean time, since you have a solution that works for you, closing the thread.
