First set of templates used since the upgrade from 1.6.7 to 2.1 (Version 2.1.3 Build 20101220)

I duplicated a set that was used for 1.6.7 when creating these new templates.

The urls in that layout are active.

Switch to the new layout and the urls are dead.

I tried to find a solution via the help outlined here:
    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/158610/

Did not work + (I lost text formatting - line breaks etc).

I tried changing the file type back to .php from .html (new??)

I am working on a deadline with more work piling up around me . . . I have a cold too ... a little bit frustrating not to be able to reuse your work.
Although I could be missing the easy boat here - as I usually do in life.

    Hi Peter,

When you say the URLs are dead, what specifically is the issue with them? Have you tried Synchronizing Templates? Standard “web page” type template files in EE 2.x should have an .html extension.

Urls are not responsive to the mouse - they are not activating at all.  They are active when the entry is previewed in the backend but there is no magic teleportation on the frontend.

    I tried synchronizing.

    Visuals:
    http://www.riverandsky.ca/index.php/2011_site/
Same data different template - http://www.riverandsky.ca/index.php/2010_site/

I am using the same code.

My index is a collection of includes that are embedded.  When I change the .html to .php on all of my includes the styling gets busted up but the links are now active.

    Hi Peter,

There’s a JavaScript error on the page that’s preventing the dynamic link handling from working. Try to point your browser to the link for scripts.min.js - it’s actually 404ing and returning your site’s homepage as the content of the script, which is obviously incorrect. Is scripts.min.js supposed to be an EE template or an actual file?
