I was also getting this error and the mySQL command worked. Was a fresh 2.1.3 install and upgraded to 2.2.0.
Mine was an upgrade from 2.1.4 to 2.2.0.
Had the same problem, which Brandon’s SQL also fixed.

I got this error too. I hadn’t amended the Member Groups previously so I don’t know if this was occurring before, but I have just updated from 2.1.3 (or 4) to 2.2.0. I’ve not had this error before on other sites using 2.1.3. Brandon’s SQL fixed the problem. Thank you.

Had this issue as well, on 2.2 (upgraded from 2.1.5b, and 2.1.4).
Can’t imagine why this fix wasn’t included in the hotfix that night…
SQL statement resolves the issue though.

Same issue upgrading from 2.1.0 to 2.2.0.
Neither ud_215.php or ud_220.php seem to have run for me. The database updates from 211 to 214 all seem to be there though.

Hi all,
ExpressionEngine 2.2.1 will fix any installations that are missing that field. Going ahead and closing this thread, but don’t hesitate to start a new one if any other issues pop up.
