    Hey Folks,

    Just installed EE2.2 for the first time, and I’m getting a Javascript error in IE8 that makes the Control Panel unusable (works in Chrome, btw).

    This is just a plain-vanilla install, everything set to default settings. Does it as soon as I log in, and makes it so clicking any of the main top navigation buttons (Content, Design, etc) has no effect—which makes the whole control panel unusable.

    I know, I know… IE8 sux. But I’m sure the control panel still needs to work for those using this browser (which includes many of my customers!)

    Hi eschlange,

    Open up system/expressionengine/controllers/cp/javascript.php and change line 477 from

    jQel.uncorner().corner(apply_radius);
    /* jQel.uncorner().corner(apply_radius); */

    You’ll need to clear IE’s temporary internet files for the changes to take effect. Does that work?

    Yep. Fixed it. You’re the man (as always), Brandon!

    Awesome. Thanks for bringing that to our attention, eschlange! Fix has been rolled in.
