Hello, our site used membership in the past, but is no longer using member functionality.
We recently underwent member registration spam attack.
I’m wondering if I can remove the member module entirely since we are not using it nor do we plan to do that. Would there be any issues with that?
The main site administrator isn’t also a “member” is it?

Well, I checked by searching members and I guess the main site administrator is a member.
So, I turned off member registration. Is that enough to prevent member registration spam?

If you turn member registration off you won’t need to do anything else.
