Hi, we’ve set up a new Directory, FTP’d 36 files to it (quite large mp3 and zips) and go to Synchronize in File Upload Preferences.

All appears fine - Number of files - 36, Number of FIles Processed - 36. Errors - 0.

But in the File Manager, whether viewing directly or trying to add a file to an entry from this folder, it only shows 19 files for that folder. And it seems pretty random - some are present, some not. Permissions all the same.

Scratching my head here. Any suggestions would be great.

Further to this I’m having constant issues with a trailing slash being removed from ‘URL of Upload Directory’ field when setting up my upload destinations.

The server path requires it and when I *can* get the matching URL settings to accept a trailing slash (about 1 in every 20 attempts), all works fine. It’s causing a lot of issues where a missing slash means a filepath will not appear correctly (missing a slash between file directory and filename in my output. Thanks.

    Luke,

EE2.2 is set for release today if you want to wait and upgrade to that first? This is a stable release and a non-beta which will hopefully shake out any issues you are having with the file manager

    Hola John

That’s great, will update. For anyone else having the issue, we narrowed the problem down to there being a duplicate filename in another directory. Basically the scenario was, a directory with mp3 files (language lessons), that we then decided to split into two difficulty levels, each with their own directory. Putting files with same filenames in these new directories seems to confuse the File Manager.
