I’ve actually thought up a resolution but have not executed it. I just have to rename the broken channel to “blog_old”, create a new channel named “blog”, knowing the newly created channel’s Publish Form will have the two functional custom form fields. Then just do one or two sql statements to update all the original blog channel id’s with the new channel id in the relevant tables. I won’t even have to update a template because the name of the channel has not changed. What do you think?

    devmonkey,

I can not recommend running SQL statements directly against the ExpressionEngine database. But, if you are confident in your SQL skills…

Good luck and backup your database before you try that.

    Cheers,

    devmonkey,

As we discussed as part of the Login Request, we determined that this issue was likely related to Sospace’s Tag Module. Please feel free to start a new thread if you need assistance in the future.

    Cheers,
