Hello!

I’ve searched in the forums about integrating Facebook and EE forums, but most of it covers how to turn a forum post into a Facebook post.  Below is a request from a client that is asking the opposite, converting Facebook entries into EE forum posts:

I was wondering ... is there any way to link Facebook posts with the Pastors Corner on the English Compass website?  Or with Twitter?

For example, whatever gets posted on the Facebook page would automatically appear as a topic on the Pastors corner forum (in a category marked “Facebook posts”?)  or with Twitter?

Any ideas out there?

This functionality doesn’t exist out of the box and I haven’t seen anything like it unfortunately. You could ask over at Solspace if this type of functionality exists for their latest release of Facebook Connect for EE

In the meantime I am moving this to the Community Help forums for you in case any other members have come across similar.

May be of some help or alternatives your client can use.

I have used Solspace’s FB plugin, works fairly well and should get you on your way.
