Ok, my question is sorta tech, sorta licensing (both).

We are considering integrating EE on a multi-user site at work. It is a Home Based Travel Agent site. We give every home based agent a website which they can brand with their own logo, contact info. etc.

A typical agent logs into the admin section we provide and manages their site. They are able to update logos, contact info., and more. We would like for them to also be able to manage a blog. Can EE be intergrated int our workflow to allow one
    login i.e.

when agent logs into the admin we provide, we do not want them to have to login separately to EE. we would like one login to log them into EE as well. Can this be done?

The second issue has to do with lisencing, we have over 600 agents. I know EE supports multi-site/multi-user set ups, but can EE support 600+ users maintaining their own separate blogs? How is lisencing handled? is EE the right solution?

    Thanks

    Hi TinyBrands,

Please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to clarify the licensing for something like this. I assume that these agents are all part of your company? With regards to the technical aspects of this, EE could do it without problems. However, quite apart from the difficulties associated with user management using only one login, I would strongly advise you not to implement any kind of system where multiple users can update the database/site files with one shared password. Assuming that each member/agent had their own account then the Safecracker module would be great at enabling content to be added without giving access to the control panel.

    Cheers
