I’m troubleshooting some code. And am finally starting to deal with categories.

Simple question though: can an entry belong to multiple categories? If so, can they be sibling categories? Or even parent and child categories?

The reason I ask is that I am creating a navigation menu where users can navigate a hierachical tree choosing either all entries under the parent hierachy or all entries under the subcategory.

Yes, an entry can have as many categories assigned to it as you want.
