    Hello

If a user tries to access Content > Edit > Contents > View
they get “An Error Was Encountered. You are not authorized to access this page” despite having in the Control Panel I set the following privileges:

    1) Member Account Privileges: “Can delete own account - deletes all posts, entries, and comments as well” Set to Yes

    2) Under Comment Administration - everything set to yes

Is there anything else that needs to be set so they can delete comments on a channel?

    Thanks

    Hi, Victoriaz.

Have you set the account to have access to the individual entries? Can they add entries OK?

Yes they can add entries without any problem, the issue only arises when they want to view/delete comments. As a Super Admin I can access and delete comments. I would like them to same similar privileges for the comments section.

    Thanks

    Hi Victoriaz,

I’m a bit confused about the path your user is taking… Content > Edit > Contents > View isn’t a path you can take in the CP. If I understand you correctly, you basically just want to allow some non-Super Admin members CP access to be able to view and delete comments on a channel, right?

In addition to turning on all settings under Comment Administration, make sure your member group has privileges to be able to access the control panel, the add-ons section, and the add-ons: modules specifically. The ability to delete one’s own account shouldn’t affect comment moderation one way or another.

Did that take care of it for you?

Sorry I meant: Content > Edit > Comments > View
I will check for the privileges and keep you posted
    Many thanks
