Forum Module: disable "Select a Theme" globally?

    I guess the only way is to comment-out or delete the corresponding lines in “Templates” -> Template Name -> Global -> HTML Footer, plus switch all Forums to a specific Forum-Theme (the one with the deleted lines of course), right?

    And is it safe to:

    This template is not writable

    In order to update this template you must set this file’s permissions to 666

    Or are there probably any other ways to style the forums? Or maybe additional themes?

    Marc,

    yes commenting out the dropdown menu is perfectly ok and an acceptable solution.. Changing the permissions to 666 if fine too. You could also just download it via FTP, make the change and reupload.
