{last_visit} is supposed to give date/time of visit PRIOR to current session.
I want to use it to show posts that are published since last visits but it did not work correct.
Now display {last_visit} without relation to the selection and it displays a date/time but not of the prior session. It displays the time of this moment!
What is wrong? Probably it is not in the templates but in some settings?

Which version and build of EE are you using? What do you mean by “Now display {last_visit} without relation to the selection and it displays a date/time but not of the prior session.”? What is your user session type set to at Admin > System Preferences > Security and Session Preferences?
