I just thought I’d introduce myself and give a bit of my background before posting my questions 😊

I have been involved in web development in one way or another since the mid 1990’s. My main focus of interest is accessibility - specifically disability access. I blog a lot about disability issues on Accessibility NZ.

I was heavily involved with Mambo and Joomla! after the split - I was on the Core Team for a while. Lately, I have been using WordPress for most of my web projects.

I am looking at EE for a specific site - the redesign of . I think the freedom of data structure will work much better than other options for this project, and probably others in the future.Wheeling Gourmet.

I think the learning curve for EE will be a bit steep after so long using WP, but I hope that the 30 day trial will get me far enough along to be able to make an informed decision.

Welcome to the EE community vavroom! I think you’ll find that EE is infinitely more flexible on front end and markup than other “theme-able” CMS’s like WordPress.
