How do I install the Photo Gallery Module? My Expression Engine site does
not have it installed by default. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

How do I find out which version of EE I have installed?

    Hi, mrmcbreen.

See EEWiki:// HowTo Determine My EE Version to find out which version of EE 1.x you’re using.

Click Modules from the control panel backend, scroll down until you find Photo Gallery, and click Install on the far right. Does that help?

The vesion of the EE I have is..

    ExpressionEngine Core 1.6.8 - © Copyright 2003 - 2010 - EllisLab, Inc.

Should I assume the Gallery Module does not work with this.

Are there any other options for me here.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Brian.

EE Core has been discontinued. It doesn’t come with the gallery module.

I’d consider upgrading to EE 2.1.3 or later, and wait for the improvements to create galleries. Or you can use something like Matrix to add galleries, or just regular EE channel entries.

    Does that help?
