    Hey all,

I have a really basic photo gallery setup using the old FF Matrix fieldtype in conjunction with the nGen file upload fieldtype.

The images display properly on the site, but when you log in and go to edit a gallery, all of the thumbnails show up as “missing” so it’s impossible to tell which photo is which (for ordering / editing purposes).

I think this has something to do with server settings, as I did a few searches and found a few things about permissions / groups… but I haven’t figured a solution and I don’t know what exactly to ask MediaTemple to change in order to make this work.

This is EE 1.6.9, got it installed on MediaTemple’s GS hosting service.

I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, I couldn’t find it. Thanks much.

    Hi, DelukoMedia.

I’m sorry, but we can’t provide direct support for third party add-ons such as nGen. You’ll need to contact the author directly.

What I can suggest is general troubleshooting - make sure your system paths are correct for your images directory.

Where Am I? is one way of doing this.

In the mean time moving to the Community Help forum for additional community support.

Thanks, Sue, and thanks for moving this to a more appropriate area.

I guess I’m just looking for others who run EE on MediaTemple’s GS service, since I think the issue has something to do with server settings and I’m sure someone else has had to deal with this.

Is there anyone using MT that has had this issue? I think it’s a group/permissions issue.
