    hello there,
i am having difficulties getting an extension of ee-garage runnging (nsm htaccess generator).
at the moment when i want to view the addons/extensions in the control panel i only see the error the plugins throws at me:

    —————————————————————-
    A PHP Error was encountered
    Severity: Notice
    Message: Undefined index: path

    Filename: nsm_htaccess_generator/ext.nsm_htaccess_generator.php
Line Number: 568The following errors were encountered

The .htaccess path setting is a string. It should be an array. If the setting has been manually set in the config.php (or config_bootstrap.php) update the value.
    —————————————————————-

but until as i know how to get this fixed i`d like to disable the extension totally. but as i can`t access the extensions page how would i do that?

    thanks for any help!

Thanks Sue for the quick help,
is there a way though to just disable one extension?
like as if i would just disable it from within the cp?

    thanks.

btw.: where in the forum would be the best place to ask about the error the nsm extension is throwing?
i think someone with some knowledge about the multi path support and config file setup would possibly know where to look for a solution.

Hi, mtin79. There’s no way via the config.php setting to disable just a single extension. You could do an update query and set the single extension to have enabled=“n”.

You’d do that either from within something like PHPMyAdmin, or after globally turning off all extensions via the config.php file, you could manually edit the exp_extensions table.

As far as support for that add-on goes, the author should be able to assist—but here I’ll move this to the Community Help forum.
