Is there an article or post for moving EE 1.0 to another server? All I can find is articles and posts for 2.0.

    Hi Marker Maker,

We do have a Wiki entry that should help.

    Cheers

    Hi Marker Maker,

In fact the documentation you’ve already seen (for EE 2.x) is essentially all you need - the major details are the same - but for EE 1.x much of what used to be in our Knowledge Base was moved to the Wiki. Is something unclear? Do you need specific assistance?

    Cheers

    Greg,

I will use the 2.0 posts and see how I go ... if I get stuck I will give you a shout. Thanks again.

Sounds good, we can keep this thread open until you’ve had a chance to upgrade.

OK hit a brick wall ... I have managed to connect my database file up OK and get the EE 1.0 CP working but am having difficulties connecting my templates up. I am using the path

    /var/www/vhosts/domain.co.uk/subdomains/ee/httpdocs/system/templates

in the ‘Templates Preferences’ which is correct but no joy… My home page just says ‘index template’.

Any ideas what I am missing?

I’m assuming you’re saving your templates as files?

If that’s so, you need a trailing / after the path to the folder.

Where Am I? is an article that helps you figure out where your path is, just to make sure.

    Does that help?
