I recently upgraded a clients site to the 2.14 beta, I didn’t want to as I know beta versions are just that, but it was necessary to fix an uploading oddity. Only now it has created a new issue with some third_party must haves. I still have the old system folder, can I just rename them back around, or will the database need adjusting because of the updating process?

    Thanks!

Nevermind. I reverted to the old system file and things seem fine. You can axe this post.

    Cheers,

The system/update/updates/ folder contains database update files, you can have a look at ud_214.php for example, which hasn’t changed much, but enough to cause issues if you reverted the files without reverting the database.

I’ve never reverted before, but I’d suggest you revert the dabatase as well using the information in the ud_214.php

Just my two grains of salt 😊

Hi, Ryan. JohanD is correct. There are some database changes which you can see in the ud_214.php file that you may want to revert to, or you’ll need to do some extra work when it’s time to upgrade to 2.2 (stable release) which is coming soon.

    Does that help?
