Review of SaaS vendors (to replace EE site)?

    Hello,

(Hoping some kind souls will help me out with this...)

I have only a short amount of time to get ready for a board meeting where a professional association is probably going to make the decision to abandon the EE site I built for them in favor of contracting with a managed services vendor (long story not included here).

I’m hoping to at least argue for time to evaluate the web site software solutions of the proposed vendors, and, possibly argue that they consider a SaaS instead of whatever web site system the vendor uses.

Does anyone know of a web site or a PDF that has a thorough review of SaaS for professional societies?

I’ve looked at Wild Apricot because of one recommendation, but they don’t quite have sufficient capabilities.  On their site, they compare their cost to several others (e.g., YourMembership, the most expensive), but I’m worried that I won’t have the time to sort through these myself.

    TIA!

    Thanks for the help.

Actually, the EE site already has membership processing implemented (etc.), but the board wants to move away from a custom-built, CMS-based, site to a hosted solution (such as Wild Apricot).  Are you familiar with any of those?

I’m in the market for the same really.  WA looks nice, but there’s no FTP and it’s really built for someone with zero HTML knowledge to be able to run a simple association site.
