Can I move an online EE site to my home server to develop it?

    Hi,

I’m new to EE. I installed it in my hosting company first because it said that I can only make one installation of the CMS.

I have to follow some tutorials to learn it. May I clone the site in my own computer to experiment with it?

Is there any way to delete all the site information once I’ve completed the tutorial so I can then create a new site from zero?

    Thanks.

I’m going to try to install it on my server as a read that it is possible to have a non public testing server. Great!

Welcome to the ExpressionEngine forums, Berner.

Yes, you can have a development copy running locally. Glad you were able to install locally. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions.
