I am having an issue with getting the directory 403: Directory access is forbidden.

If i do http://www.mysite.com/index.php the page loads just fine.  From what i see all file permissions are set right now to 777, so maybe that is the issue.

I can go to http://www.mysite.com/system and the page loads just fine there, so I am thinking there my be a configuration issue somewhere that might not be set correctly.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi jeffmace,

That’s a server configuration issue rather than an EE issue, but try removing any URL rewriting directives (if this were an Apache server I’d say to remove .htaccess temporarily).

Amazingly in IIS7, i just had to make sure that .php was all the way at the top of the default documents order.  I had it at # 2 and that gave me the issue, as soon as i moved it to the top spot, all was ok.  Thanks!
