This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I just downloaded the newest release of Mars Edit today. Before this release of Mars Edit and the current build, images would upload and the post would register in Mars Edit as having posted, but wasn’t actually on the server.

With both of these new builds I can retrieve existing posts just fine, but when trying to post I get an error of “empty response.”

Just wanted to give a heads up.

    Have Fun,

    Dan

    Dan,

Is this with EE 2.1.3 or the 2.1.4 beta? The beta does fix an issue with MarsEdit, and I’ve been able to post fine with it. Can you give us a screenshot of your Metaweblog module settings?

Hi Brandon.  That is with 2.1.3.  Sorry for not being clear.  It’s a production site. Here is a screen cap of my settings.  It so simple to set it up and I love that!

    Dan,

I can definitely replicate a similar issue with 2.1.3. Give 2.1.4 a try when you get a chance, as that works well for me with the same configuration, images and all. Make sure that in MarsEdit you have the System API set to Movable Type, otherwise images will not come though.

Thanks Brandon.  I’ll try 2.1.4 on my testing server to see how it works.  How close is the beta to done? I know that was an unfair question.  Just a ballpark parking lot guess?

    Dan,

I don’t have a release date for the beta being done I’m afraid. Please let us know how your EE2.1.4 test turns out though.
