Our developer built a website using 1.8.6 using his own license. Now we need to purchase a site license for the customer and I see you only have 2.1.3 available.
We are very worried about compatibility and so forth, please advise.

Assume you mean 1.6.8
My understanding is that if you purchase the newer version you have access to the former build(s).......
The current 1.X is 1.7.1
So you would have the best of both worlds - the older version (newer build(s) as they come) and the ability to upgrade.

jayferranti,
handyman is correct. If you purchase EE2.1.3 you can also use EE1.7.x from your download area.
If you have any concerns over the license or transfer of license then please feel free to email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
